Lots of men are nurturers and great cooks. Lots of women can change the oil in a car or fix the brakes. So what?

Are you a stereotype breaker?

What do you guys do that was heretofore considered to be the job of a woman and what guy-type things do you gals enjoy doing that you are also very good at doing? Who sez you can't build houses if you're a woman and you can't make a great dinner and iron and clean house if you're a guy?

    I used to be.
As a sculptor, I could wield an electric chainsaw and any number of electrical tools.
I used winches, pulleys, trolleys, levers and ramps to move monumental sized sculpture of wood or metal on my own.
I could weld, make mould and cast in most materials, and carve and construct in wood.
The same skills allowed me to make the furniture I lived with and do lots of other things that saved on the cost of living.

Later, when I became a breeder and trainer of horses, getting on the back of a horse that had never been ridden before was a traditional male job.
I did it with every horse I bred.

    These days, no more.
I'm only 63, but my body can no longer handle the punishment, and I no longer enjoy hard physical labour.
    This days, I write.

You are a very impressive person m'dear. If I were wearing a hat I'd doff it off to you! Amazing talent and skills on such a level as that? I know we speak of Renaissance Man. Renaissance Woman be thee to me. I'm gonna ask why we never hear of the female version. Thank you for your totally delightful and very insightful reply bw. I appreciate your opening up and giving us glimpses of whom you are. Happy Tuesday to thee! :)
