AM has approximately 2502 member accounts and 5 moderators. That comes out to 500.4 members per a mod. Are you a .4?

I'm not that brilliant in math but 0.4 and a split on five moderators must make it two members, which means it must be 0.2 for one mener, no? Yeah, I'm likely that 0.2. Lol.

I've communicated with both you and JA, and I don't really spend much time here, compared to most users. Not sure what, if any, relevance that has to your question. Math confuses the hell out of me.

I police myself and generally do not require a mod.  On those few occasions when/where the site's owners/mods may not be satisfied with my policing, I will be censored accordingly. Math is irrelevant. :-)

Math is valid only when it describes reality. Please tell us what is real about your premise.

Some people say five moderators are five too many.
Personally, I think they're great. Great people if you ask me.
Never seen them, never spoke to them.
Folks say they may have.problems we don't know about.
I would do so much better at what they do, than they, believe me.

Out of those 2502, how many are still active? A LOT of those accounts are old and those members haven't been on-site for a very long time.

Conscientious members usually do their best to moderate themselves.  Good moderators will sometimes help along that process if there is a snag or two.

Actually, it only takes one or two losers that no one will deal with to ruin it for everyone else.  Thankfully that license doesn't seem to be granted here.
