    Unfair question.  Most religions promote peace, not hatred.  However, when the people who commit acts of hatred claim to be of a certain religion, that religion gets a bad name. 
    The catholic church, under the name of christianity, committed heinous acts of hatred during the 1500's.  Today, cults like ISIS claim they are Islamic, even though the acts they commit are considered wrong by the Quran
