    I found the news report.

    Amazing! -- going on since the 1940's and results reliably replicated by separate organisations.

    It turns out spiders have neural cells which occupy their cephalothorax, cells which in some species extends into the legs.

    So all it takes is neural cells for psycho-active drugs to affect perception and behaviour.

    Maybe some types of intelligence are rooted at a far more primal level than we imagine.

    I experimented three or four times with some of those drugs many years ago.
    Don't regret what I learned.
