NFL: if a quarterback has not been sacked in several consecutive games, that’s more attributable to the linemen than to the QB, right?

An agile, mobile QB who rushes, or one who is quick to launch a pass or to hand off the ball, all of those actions contribute to avoiding a sack, but the effectiveness of the linemen in protecting the QB should not be excluded from the equation.

I have always felt that. There are some excellent QBs out there whose linemen are mediocre by NFL standards. They have the hardest jobs on the field, get paid the least and only last about five years average. This post was edited by Element 99 at January 5, 2020 12:35 PM MST
