Israel beat up on Iran with a bomb attack some years ago. (I think it was a nuke reactor facility) How much more powerful is the American military? BAM! Now go watch one of the several military videos entitled 'Thunderstruck' with music by AC/DC.

Iran is not going to do anything, they will talk it up to divert the populations discontent from the Mullahs. Iran is in a low boil period of Civil Unrest/War. About six (6) weeks back the the Revolutionary Guard opened fire on the protesters. It has been said 200 people died, unofficial estimates are between 2K-3K dead another couple of thousand jailed, assume 90% will die in prison.
General Qasem Soleimani ordered the crackdown.
Now if Iran does do anything expect those Bad Boys to get really thumped this time. That is disproportionate response will be meted out very hard and very fast.

The experts on Iran are saying it's highly unlikely that Iran would try to engage in a direct conventional war with the USA - that Iranians are highly rational people and know they couldn't win.
The experts say its highly likely that Iran will fund proxies to attack US stations in Iraq, Lebanon and throughout the Middle East. They will do it guerilla-style, rush in and rush out, so there's no obvious target or proof for reprisals.
