    I won $10 from Publishers Clearing House once, does that count?

    I thought it was a scam. Sometimes they send out things that look like checks which say something like "Pay to the order of Joe Blow...TEN MILLION DOLLARS...if Joe Blow has the winning numbers in our prize drawing on date xx/xx/xxxx"

    But, no, it was an actual check which the bank accepted.
