What date do we set for the election of the President of aM?

On the way-out morally and classically liberal platform we have a duet standing for president - the magnificent combination of SapphicHeart and WingedWonder. 

Campaigning as #WonderHeart2016, the duo's policies are no false promises, no taxes, no negativity, no fear mongering, no violence, no wars - peace and love only.

Upholding family values and polite behaviour, Not Trump will soon be appearing as El Machismo, attended by a tribe of gypsies run by the matriarch Lucia, a formidable madonna who has private access to the reins of power. The Macho planks include no censorship and free immigration from other sites. How this marries with family values is still uncertain but Lucia is certain to ensure that it will. Further clarification is needed on the subject of illegal aliens since it seems El Macho has shifted from a previous position of advocating extreme vetting. El Machismo has been silent so far on the subject of how the site would be funded. Some speculate that he is in favour of taxation.

The people have called upon Margarite Matisse, the Beloved and Old School, the SKOL to stand up for art, science, intellect, and culture. Both have commented in the so far unofficial campaign, but have not yet committed themselves to stand as candidates.

Other candidates may still come forward, either as individuals or as teams, but must have different policies so as to give Muggers a clear choice in the direction of this rapidly growing site.

Sharonna Flatline Quantum Nuka Cola has disappointed many by her announcement that she refused to stand. Many saw her as the ultimate candidate for unbridled freedom of word and action.

The date for the election is soon to be set, at which point the official campaign is likely to unleash the full repertoire of demagoguery and political tricks.

The election will run concurrent with a referendum on the need for a president.
