Every January, I challenge myself to see how far into the new year I can go without mistakenly writing the last year’s date. Once, I made it

all the way to April without doing it, then I slipped up. Sometimes it has happened in January.

How about you?  What’s your record for how long into a new year have you gone without writing the wrong year’s date?

I always start writing the next year's date in December when I send out my Christmas cards so helps me get into the habit early. Also in case I forget to send cards then I can say that I mailed them last year.

I have done it so few times I can't remember. I rarely write the date anyway. A few years ago, my wife got a traffic ticket and the cop wrote the wrong year. The judge chuckled and threw it out.

    I LOVE 2020.
I have no problem leaving the 19th behind.
    Here is why.
    It is balanced.
      I like that.
It is easy to write.  I'm quick with my nines and either they look like a seven or a 0 having a bowel movement.
    It is pretty.
    It is friendly.
I like 2020 because it looks like the number is moving forward and not caught in the end going downward or stopping before it hits the bottom.
Think about how you write 2020.
    It is an upward swing.

I look forward and like 2020 very much.

I have no trouble writing 2020, but I do write that in on the ten checks in my checkbook just in case.
