Iran offered a bounty of $3million for Trump's head. When did pork-fat become this expensive?

Ahmad Hamzeh, an Iranian MP has announced a 3 million dollar reward to “whoever kills Trump”.

Hamzeh is the MP for Kahnuj city in Kerman province. Kerman being the hometown of Qassem Soleimani, the head of Iran's Quds Force who was killed by a U.S. drone on January 3 in Iraq.

“I declare on behalf of the people of Kerman that all Kermanis are soldiers of Haj Qassem (Soleimani) and we all have no fear of being martyred. We give $3 million in cash to anyone who kills Trump” said Hamzeh, in his speech in parliament Tuesday according to Icana, Iran's parliament news agency.

I figure that Trump's head weight approximately 50 pounds and is worth about $60,000 a pound.
That's a lot of money for expired balogna.

I'm thinking that the offer is for someone outside of Iran, to the international community for someone such as a mercenary

    You're so smart, Don.  LOL
That's probably the only way that funds could be paid to the contractor to hide the transfer. Gold is very pretty to look at but impractical.

Also it is vital to maintain anonymity. Wouldn’t want an angry horde of Trumpian avengers beating down my door.

How can you believe his head weighs 50 pounds? It's completely empty.

    Hah! Good point, Jane.

If it was empty, would it not collapse, implode because the weight of the skin needed to cover that bulbous mass?

I once filled a balloon with natural gas and it fell to the floor like a rock. I'm sure one of our local eggheads could tell us what the weight of natural gas is, but if it's in liquid form, I imagine it's heavy.

I don't see how the balloon could fall. Natural gas has a molecular mass of 16g/mol, and air has a combined molecular mass of 28.8 g/mol.

    Try it yourself.
I swear. It falls to the floor.
Does mercaptan have a specific weight and is the quantity added to natural gas significant enough to make a difference?

I have. Methane balloons float. The thiols used in odorants in the natural gas are tiny and insignificant. I used this as a demo when I taught HS chemistry. This post was edited by Element 99 at January 22, 2020 7:54 PM MST

    OK...
I'm not talking about methane in it's pure state.  I am talking about the natural gas used in home heating. We know that NG is not just methane. It also contains ethane, propane, nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, sulfur compounds, water, and heavier hydrocarbons.  We also need to consider the weight of the latex in the balloon. • What's all this talk about gas?

Betcha didn't know, that if I fart near an open fire I twinkle even brighter.
Could be the flames reacting...I'm not sure.
