The Location (s) are at the end credits, not at the beginning.... I often watch to see where the different scenes were shot, especially if it has stunning scenery.... I visited "Monument Valley" after watching several old John Ford Films. I also visited Durango, Colorado . This is where " Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" jumped off the cliff into the Animas River !
I will know before I see the names, even before I enter the movie. :-)
OK.... What does" filmed in your country" refer to ?
Sometimes. I am watching re-runs of "The Outer Limits" (Not a movie) and you have no Idea it was filmed in Canada until the closing credits.
Remember those old "Spaghetti Westerns" ? Most were Italian made and filmed in Spain !
During the opening credits, if I do see some scenery that is interesting I will speculate on where it was filmed. Now it seems that a lot of filming is occurring in Georgia, USA. Must have some tasty tax credits.
I loved those movies.
Wilmington, NC has a huge production studio also. The late Andy Griffith helped to establish the studios.
DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
No everyone on AnswerMug is in the same country that I am in, nor is everyone in their own country of origin. "Your country" means whichever country to person who answers considers to be her or his country.

It's a dead giveaway when the title screen says "двенадцать стульев".
And "Mission to Mars" was filmed in Burbank !
