Condolences D. Jim and I had to do the same thing with our beloved cat Tigger almost 3 years ago. We will always miss him. I am so sorry. It would so nice if our beloved pets could have long lives as we humans do wouldn't it? Thank you for your reply and Happy Thursday to thee! :)

We all have out innings Rosie....no matter big or small...They have just discovered that certain species of whales live 250 years and are still going strong..I will never understand why some species of humans sill want to kill and eat them..

I believe in Alaska among Eskimos whale is key to their survival. They use every part of it. Without whales perhaps there would be none. People eat to survive D. Whatever is available to them. Ideally our survival would not depend on eating other animals but if you live where nothing grows on land and only have the sea as your grocery store what choice do you have? At least they kill to eat so they can survive unlike "hig" game hunters who kill for the thrill of cutting off the head and stuffing it to hang on a bragging wall. I wonder how many inhuman homo saps do that? Thank you for your reply! :) This post was edited by RosieG at February 7, 2020 5:06 AM MST

The Inuwits up north take one Rosie....same as islanders in the pacific oceans.....None kill thousands a year like the evil Japanese ,Norwiegens or Icelandic people....Why are these countries not banned and prosecutes for this most horrendous crime...Humans have less rights than whales...Just because we are the top preaditor,it doesn't give us the right to lord over every other living thing on this planet...

Personally ,I think anyone involved in the whaling industry, should suffer the same fate as the whales they slaughter...

Oh I see what you mean D. They take what they need to survive. I'm with you on that totally! Thank you for taking the time to clarify what you meant. I appreciate it bigly! ((hugs))
