This second single from the "Can't Buy A Thrill" album is my favourite Steely Dan song of all. It really rocks.
Do it Again was released the very same week that I saw Steely Dan perform in Corpus Christi as the lead in act for Rare Earth. In fact, they were so new, the marquee read, "Rare Earth, plus introducing Dan Steely". I would be hard pressed to say which band I liked better that night.
I don't think I've heard Rare Earth, although I have certainly heard of them. They have not been successful in the UK and I've never had any of their records in my collection. I'll have a look for them on YouTube and see what's there.

Next, the eleven minute version of I Know I'm Losing You.
The third link doesn't play "I Know I'm Losing You", it's a repeat performance of "I Just Want To Celebrate", and it's not 11 minutes either, it's just under 3 minutes. That song is OK, and I know "Get Ready" from the Temptations' version which still gets played regularly on soul nights in various pubs and clubs.
