Jim and I experienced some disappointing behavior in someone whom we thought of as a friend. It happens. You've been there. We moved on.Another friend who knows us and him sees him from time to time and can't let it go. It's stupid.Whenever we see him he brings it up and tells us once again how bad he feels and how upset he is on our behalf.I've told him to knock it off and move on and he just can't do it. He will not let it go.Here's my question. Why do some people hold on so tight to past hurts? Theirs and those of others? What is it exactly they get out of it?
