I think that question is unanswerable unless we could experience a variety of iterations or visit all the other possible dimensions where all of those scenarios are happening.Maybe good and evil is like a pendulum that swings from one side to the other knocking down whatever is in the middle. In the dead of a very cold winter you look forward to the warmth of spring. But summer follows and that can be a very deadly thing so we look forward to autum but then it is followed by another harsh winter.
