They do not comprehend how or why others view him differently. To them he is their savior/saint/angel man who will always d for them the best he can and he will save them because no one else can. They become irate when anyone says anything negative/unkind/insulting about him. His faults that the rest of us can't stomach? "What faults" ask they? "Where"? "Prove them" "He has done nothing wrong. It is all lies". And so it goes day by day. SIGH less

They represent slavery which is why the south fought a war with the north. She says it is part of their heritage/history and cannot be erased. Agreed. But creating legislation to PRESERVE the monuments/statues to the racist part of that history in the south? Do you think that is a good fight? Why?
