A man who is described as hysterical means he is funny as he** and you will laugh your a** off! Now I know there are exceptions. Lucille Ball was always hysterically funny and Don Knotts while hysterically funny could also get emotionally hysterical too. But those are the exceptions. So why the gender bias in a word that can go two ways?. One is a compliment and the other ain't!

Sure you're desperate but a straw? As for the camel if it's a regular straw one more ain't gonna matter unless the straw is made of metal and VERY HEAVY. So you are DESPERATE to find a solution. Why not say so? So you mean that you're fed up and you won't take it any more. Why not say so?
