I don't know if other countries' citizens are equally "naive" and become "friendly" without being aware of it. But isn't there some modicum of common sense that should send warning signals to them when they are being "cultivated" by foreign officials? Just like pedophiles "groom" their victims are Americans being cultivated/groomed too often because they are such easy targets, so trusting, childlike and vulnerable? Or are all of then completely aware of what they are doing while they are quite possibly jeopardizing the security of their country? less
