Kind of - once I held onto the bumper of the special ed short bus and got towed threw the snow. Turned out it was a pretty retarded thing to do because we hit a dry patch and I skidded along the pavement - what really hurt was all the kids on the short bus laughed at me. Cheers!

  • Lol oh no :/ The trains still aren’t running in Ontario on my route because of the First Nations protests. So I’m on a bus again, I thought the first bus to Toronto was bad but when I was at the airport and saw this “short bus“ pull up... :( I’m not holding on to any bumbers though so not as bad as your experience lol. Still, I’m pouting right now and want the faaak off this thing.

  • They’re weird, this week is the first time I’ve ever had to travel any distance by bus. I’m not dealing well with it. I really don’t like it at all.

  • It’s a bus, but even worse than a bus, it’s short...IT IS THE WORST.

Back in public school there was always a short in length bus for transporting the special needs children.  It was somewhat cruel joke to say tell a fool that I bet you had to ride the short bus.  I think it's too mean. This post was edited by Thriftymaid at February 14, 2020 2:59 PM MST

  • Airport rental car buses and hotel shuttles are usually short buses.  :)  I've ridden many of those.

I drove one while stationed in SC. It was a shuttle to pick up sailors and take them back to their ships.
