What is something you are immune to?

I am immune to the usual effects of marijuana. I have tried it many times and it only makes me drowsy and get munchies,  one time caused me hallucinations when I infused it to make tea.

And live poison oak.  I have gotten poison oak from dead stuff. Glis explained to me that is gets stronger after it dies.

I don't think that's strictly true. Someone who is utterly impervious to others' emotions is a psychopath, and you don't strike me as someone with those tendencies.

Let’s consider that on a spectrum. I’m not utterly impervious to deep emotional moments, but melodrama and prodding for effect are of no concern to me.

I suspected that was more what you meant. Practiced indifference to emotional manipulation is a necessary skill in the modern world.

    Indeed, SP.
We are greatly served to steel ourselves to the many forces of stress we encounter in life. To me, much of that is to mitigate what others would impose on us.

It is evident that I was terse in my reply. An occasional failing of mine.

    1) I experience no subjective stimulant effect from caffeine (although I can get withdrawal headaches if I ingest it regularly then stop).

    2) I have never, to my knowledge, experienced motion sickness.

    3) While enough alcohol will make me clumsy (including speech impairment) and sleepy, it has almost no effect upon my mood. I don't become randy, or mopey, or aggressive, or any of the stereotypical emotional changes attributed to drunk people.

Marijuana is NOT your drug of choice.

Move on from that idea! LOL

For the past 30 years, pathogens. I am lucky. I did have a very mild reaction to the latest flu vaccine that lasted about 12 hours.
    I am immune to advertizing.
Also, you say you are immune to the usual effects of weed, but when I smoke it, those are the effects it has on me. I thought that was normal. Enlighten me.

I think the usual effects are a feeling of euphoria and you laugh a lot because everything seems funny and some other glorious sensations i'm not sure how to describe. I didn't like the drowines because I wanted to go out and do stuff. Making tea was effective for pain relief but after about 2 weeks was when I started experiencing unpleasant hallucinations. After that was when I discovered kratom.

(What is something you are immune to to which you are immune?)

His way of writing it uses fewer words and is written as someone would say it.
Your second statement is untrue. If you were immune to it, you would not correct it.
