Girls: If while getting out of a cab a stranger about to get in offers you his hand, would you take it out of courtesy or quietly ignore?

As a married woman, I would ignore.

I'd say thank you, that's okay. 

I'd be polite and not take it.  I don't need help.

I would take it and thank the man.

I would take the help and say "Thank you".  So few people do the smallest kind acts anymore. 

When courtesies are routinely ignored or rejected, it comes to a point that people no longer extend them.

I would ignore simply because I don't touch strangers.  ;)

Very, very true. Wish chivalry would come back. I'd love to experience it the way it was perhaps a generation ago.

I had to step over a puddle in a large pothole as I got out of the cab, and took the waiting man's hand to help me over it. Nothing wrong.
