  • We just wing it until both credit cards start getting declined and then it's time to start pulling from the kids' 529 plans. YOLO.

    I pay for everything I can ahead of time. Motel, tickets to attractions
    And allow so much per day for food.  Try to put spending money on one or two credit cards.

    As long as I haven't had to touch those three $100 bills in my wallet, I know I'm doing fine. 

    And, NO I don't keep them in there all the time...just when traveling.
