They want to keep up the appearance that every time the police kill someone black it is about race and nothing else. That keeps blacks divided from rest of society. That should not even be the question in this case, the question should be is if it is ok for the police to shoot someone because they had marijuana and a gun. I think it is not because people are allowed to have guns and people should be allowed to have marijuana and it is not enough to just see someone with a gun to say that you can shoot them. If he didn't do anything aggressive then I think they were wrong. But it is hard to know with the video being blurry and the transcript of his wife yelling making it sound like he was about to do something aggressive.
