During this time of social distancing, are you letting your facial hair grow out?

I know I am.

Of course, and pit hair as well.

When  I was in my early teens I used to push it out so I would look older.

Right in front of me, is that it, Jane?  You don’t even try to hide it, you don’t have the common decency to sneak around behind my back, you don’t care about me enough to make up an excuse to leave  room and whisper into the phone to speak with him?  Just flaunt all of your flirting and eyelash-batting and sashaying your hips in his direction as if I’m blind?  This is how you treat me after everything I’ve done to make our relationship real and meaningful?  If you don’t want me any more, you have to stab me in the heart to let me know?

No I still video conference a lot so Clean shaven is mandated.  Even w/o Video Conferencing my partner does not like the unshaven looks or beards.  There are very hostile remarks and a pillow may appear on the couch if said event occurs

  • Had my usual Winter beard, now trimmed to Spring goatee.  It'll be over 90 next week so it's most likely coming off, too, and I'll just keep my stache. ;D

At first it bothered me a whole lot, but you know something? After a while, I’ve become accustomed to it, so much so that I kind of like the way it feels when we snuggle, or the way it feels when you do that little move of yours behind my left ear, or when the next morning as I take my shower and find little hairs of yours all over me. I guess what I’m trying to say is that it’s all a part of you, so it’s special to me, and I wouldn’t want you to change it one bit.  Heck, I’m starting to ramble, and this is getting too mushy, so I’ll stop, before I embarrass us both. See you Friday night, usual time, usual place!

I let it grow out earlier than that. Right now I slightly resemble Kenny Rogers as of 30 years ago. Since I blew my hand up, I can't manage to hold a razor properly. I'm back to about half the normal range of movement in my thumb (I may never get it all back, the joint was too badly damaged) but I still haven't regained any strength in it yet.
Forget left-handed unless you have the Blood Bank on standby. I'm clumsy enough with my Dexter hand. This post was edited by Slartibartfast at March 21, 2020 8:34 AM MDT

Barbecuing, and my better half put a can of canola spray on a shelf beside it - far enough away,we both believed, for it not to pick up enough heat from the grill to be a problem.
I noticed some condensation forming on the can, so decided to move it further away - took three steps and it exploded in my hand.
Third degree burns to the hand and forearm, compound fracture of my right thumb.

I'm healing, it will take time is all. The arthritis in the joint will probably never go away, but I've lived with that in other joints for decades. I played a few rough sports as a teenager, paying for it now.
