What do fish that live in our oceans do apart from swim and eat other fish. What is the point of any lifeform thats born just to live eat,die

Funny old world when 200,000,000 virus things can live on top of one single pin head....
How strange to that one tiny virus is far more powerful than any man made weapon...

Not just to die....to be eaten.  It's called a food chain.  All animals have a link.

That's true....but it makes me wonder why nature singled homo sapians out as the top predator....growing our thumbs certainly helped...

We had a big hand in our own rise to pre-eminence on this planet, and it had more to do with our growing larger brains than just opposable thumbs.

Fact is, not every member is ”created” equal. The fittest tend to survive.

(Enough of hating on Darwin. He was right)

One of the most cleverest persons ever born I think and even more considering the era he was born into..Plus Sir David Attenborough is right up there with him...
Such a shame both didn't enter politics...if every nation did also ,there would be no more wars until all of earth resorces are nearing depletion...:(

The simplest reason fish swim constantly is to find food, so they can eat and avoid being eaten themselves, is mainly to fulfill the same instinctive purpose that is common to all life forms:

To survive long enough to reproduce as many times as possible.

Perfection is subjective, but we might more accurately say repetition improves the odds of success.
