Have you ever actually known someone named Billy Bob?

My father was a Billy, his brother was a Bob.

No real life Billy Bobs for me.  However I do have extended family, second cousins I think, where Bubba has become a multi-generational name.  I believe it started with my dad's great uncle.  He goes by Bubba Senior.  His son went by Big Bubba.  And then his two sons go by Little Bubba and Bubba Junior.

Yes.  When I was a young adult the man who owned the service station in my neighborhood was named Billy Bob.  Probably a William Robert XXXXXX.  I never asked.  He was good as gold and was at that station from dark AM to dark PM.
