Another 4th grade phone prank is to have some friends call a phone number late at night, one after the other, with the calls separated by just enough time to let the victim drift back to sleep. Each asks for "Joe" (or some other name that likely won't be there). The last call is from you and you identify as "Joe" and then you ask if you've had any calls . . . yawn
Of course don't forget to block sending caller ID for each call . . . and even with that the victim can still send a call trace request to the phone company's Annoying Call Bureau (*57, hang up on the offending call, then go off-hook and immediately dial the code after getting dial tone, if I remember correctly)
The 60's called .. they want their prank calls back ... LOL
