    Yes there is a way to know Stu but you have to read the Bible with an open mind. The prophecies like the one at Daniel 9:24-27 should help one to see there is something to the Bible.

    Try reading the Bible Stu, I feel like your synagogue would likely have a copy of the Hebrew scriptures. Read Daniel 9:24-27 and tell me a little about it from a highly intelligent persons perspective like yourself.
    Also, do you believe King David was a real person?

    The Resurrection of Christ brought a new reality into the world.  That new reality works both backward and forward in time.  (Time is the relationship of things that change.  God is immutable and therefore outside of "change.")

    If you choose not to believe in God, then if He exists, there are a number of things that you will never understand about how He might work.
