What kind of an error in printing would make it obvious that a bill is counterfeit?

Eg -a tilde after "IN GOD WE TRUST~"

    I'm surprised Trump hasn't asked to have his picture on all the paper currency.  He insisted his signature be on the stimulus checks.  What a putz.
