Do you think it’s possible that some people experience true arousal or get turned on by other’s good grammar? ~

    Sure.

Everyone, I'd think, would have different things that they, individually, find potentially arousing. Like with me -- uh . . . forearms.

(OK, and with that admission, WelbyQ will now leave for that day . .  ha!)

Why did none of those attractive forearms do a thing for me?

Lol, I’m a cruel friend, am I not?

I hope these tidbits make up for my “unintentional oversight.”

Thrifty Maid posted something recently that because of the way it was written, had me wanting to run away with her. Sigh.

Um, it takes a little more than good grammar to turn me on, but I can tell you that poor grammar definitely turns me off.

I may have to run away with you also. Do you mind waiting in line behind Thrifty Maid?  (Sheesh, you ladies certainly keep me busy.)

Sigh. Okay, okay!  Stop browbeating me!  You’ll be first and then when you dump me, I’ll swing back around and get Thrifty Maid. Have your bags packed when I get there, please. (Thanks a lot. I already had the schedule written out and everything. Now I have to rearrange it. Grrrrrr.)

If you don't have to work to get what you want, it isn't worth having. :)

No.  But poor grammar is definitely a turn off.  Beautifully combined words is something I really enjoy hearing and reading.  My favorite author, Pat Conroy, is wordsmith extraordinaire.  Sometimes I reread a sentence or a paragraph simply because it was beautiful.

I read Beach Music by him.  I thought I read something else, but when I looked at his list of books, nothing else came to mind.

Funny, I knew the name sounded familiar, but wondered why I hadn't seen anything recently from him.  Seems he passed away in 2016 - a good reason.

Yes.  He had promised to finish the one he was working on; he didn't.  Perhaps someone else will finish it for him.

That happened with Vince Flynn.  He was in the middle of a book when he passed.  He authorized Kyle Mills to not only finish the book, but to continue writing in both their names.  Mills has turned out to be as good as Flynn.

Well Randy D. I especially like what you do with adverbs, gives me the chills.  When you throw in an exclamation point....that really does it.
