I always say that math would be so much easier if it was letters instead of numbers. Then, I remember algebra. It's really not any better with letters.
I do enjoy playing it. My best time on my app for an easy one 5:43 mins. I did the 4×4 block. (Has 16 squ and uses 1-9 and A-G) This took me 1:41hrs but I did get it.
I tried a few easy ones, but quickly became both bored and frustrated. Soon I realized I was no good at it and determined it was pointless, so I never went back. Give me some good-old-fashion algebra any time.
LOL ... I work for a man who is a math whiz. He once told me that every problem he looks at gets reduced to numbers. I'm just not wired for it. But give him a jumble to do (where they take words and scramble the letters) and he's lost - even with the simplest one. Really amazing how the brain works.
If I hadn't been taking a Commercial course in high school, my math teacher would have failed me - I just couldn't get algebra no matter how hard I tried. The most basic algebra (2+x= 6) I could master, but after that, nothing.
