    Yes.  In the sense that the atoms in the slice, have been slices of bread before, and will be again..  On a more esoteric level, if slice of bread is good, it MIGHT be re-incarnated as a slice of bread again..

    While we're on the subject, how many times has the water you drink been drunk before??
