I think the police got their taste of unjust Justice for once...If it's true what on our news in England they should be charged with murder and the one that did nothing charged with aiding and abetting.... How do you sleep at night and who in their right minds could ever trust them.. Who knows,it could be anyone's turn next if these things are just left to continue.. After all is said and done...all were just police and not untouchable gods...
Yes, it would be reasonable as defense to the illegal breaking, entering, vandalism, and theft. However, it would likely escalate a situation where innocent people would be hurt or killed. That is more important.
I have to say that heavy use of tear gas and pepper spray seemed like a good idea but I don't think they used it at the looting sites....did they? I saw them using it around the police station. I just saw clips from a news video so know little about it really.
I'm too late to the question to have a profound statement. I totally agree with all of the above with answers saying, in summary, shoot no. There are other ways to make get a point across.
