Everything thing on this planet mutates with time Rosie....even granite rocks get crushed....one day this planet wont exist and it's particles will go on to form a dust cloud in space and have to wait to be gathered up and turned into something more useful again..
The pyramids? Time chips away bits of it very slowly. Monuments to what used to be long ago. Cave paintings. Ancient creatures long extinct trapped in stone formed long ago. So much of what we will never know. The huge library at Alexandria which contained all the volumes of everything ever written gone in flames. What a tragedy. What information might have all the tomes have contained? Unknowable. Thank you for your reply Addb.
