Discussion»Questions»answerMug Members» How many people like the old home page better? I want the questions in the old format. This is too LOST IN SPACE feeling.
I do admit that I find it confusing and (therefore) frustrating. Not only that, not everything is working correctly or working to expectations, so the entire learning curve is thrown off. I know that in time I will learn it and accept it. Having said all that, to answer your question, what I really miss is the old AnswerBag website. I think I'm still holding a torch for it.

I understand. It seemed simple and was totally user friendly, particularly before 12-09; it seems it would have been duplicated by someone. At least we still know a nice group of people and have Answermug to stay in touch. The notification thing has kept me away. I answered "no" to a question and have endless notifications because other people are talking in that discussion..................not to me but to others. I don't want to know that and that stupid checked box caused it. I'm looking for a way to unsubscribe to notifications for when I fail to uncheck that box. I hope that gets changed.

I pay no attention to the home page. The question page I would like to see go back. I want to see who asked the question....not just their avatar (or at least get their name if I hover the avatar). Also, I can't imagine why I would care who post the last answer. It seems cluttered. The "Send me notifications when other members reply to this discussion" square should by default be unchecked in my opinion.

I found the old format easier to read. I like the larger space for typing answers and messages. I like that I have more formatting options for writing replies. It would be handy to have coloured fonts if possible. The old button underneath the question for switching Follow/Don't Follow was good for switching notifications off later - if the replies became a bit boring.
I would prefer it if the answers on questions could scroll rather than just clicking forward or back. Being able to jump to a numbered page could be useful.
In my email, there is no link from notifications to the replies to questions. There are links to blogs, personal messages and friend requests.
