    I love my country even though I oppose its government, so I get that.

    I doubt that many do to be honest, but since it's such a common label (the unpatriotic skeptic), I like to get it out of

    No, no. You MUST hate our country if you love your own.  It's a rule. LOL!

    Two wholly fallacious ideas I'd like to see go into the dustbin of history;

    1) That we need national boundaries;
    2) That we need vast, inefficient, brutal, oppressive, etc. governments.

    Some ideas (and the institutions upon which they are based) are self perpetuating, self serving and self legitimizing.  We would not need them if we did not have them.
