Have you ever picked up any new or different exercise activities by watching other people do them?

I’m at the park for my morning run, the place is packed with people doing all sorts of things such as walking, jogging, bicycling, skating, Tai Chi, etc. I’ve just finished and saw someone doing various cool-down stretches which I immediately thought would be great to incorporate into my own regimen.
  Have you ever been similarly inspired when seeing someone else exercise?

[Footnote]. I’m not referring to you watching them on TV, video, online, etc., only real life, live, first-hand.

    When I did dance, I used to watch the other dancers warm up. I would steal the warmup moves of the women who were especially toned or graceful.
