Stu, for a person as intelligent as you are, a quip like that is beneath you. An attempt at a vague and barely disguised insult is also beneath you.
Look, you posted something that you assumed to be humorous, or perhaps it’s only humorous to you. So far, few of us who have responded appear to have seen the supposed or alleged humor in it, what’s more, few even understood its intent, humorous or otherwise. Plainly put, your “joke” fell flat, you laid an egg, pal. Don’t try to fault the audience when your dad joke falls into a cricket-chirping category.
