What is your “Worst Sunbathing or Sunburn Story”?

i had pretty bad sunburns after going on a deep sea fishing trip and not putting on any sunblock

a few days later I went to the beach on a school trip And once again didn’t put any sunblock on, so I ended up with really nasty third degree sunburns all over my shoulders 

i couldn’t go out for a while because wearing clothes was painful, and I had to use this cream for burns 

I walked barefoot on the ocean beach in dense fog.  The next day my feet were so sunburned that they were swollen and very painful.  I couldn't walk on them for 2 days

I was in Daytona, FL during bike week in 1962. with my stepfather. I went to the beach alone and had no clue about sunburn. It was as bad as it can get. Blisters, itching...total misery. How about you?

I had passed out after consuming a few too many beers and not only was I sunburned but some hoser with a marking pen wrote  'kick me' on my back. 

At the cricket, plastered, wearing a tank top and shorts. Too drunk to realise I was cooking. Second degree burns to the shoulders. No sympathy from my then-gf, but she did put aloe vera gel on the burns.
