How many letters make up your maternal grandmother’s full name?

Please specify maiden name or married name, thank you.

After her final marriage, my maternal grandmother had 13 letters. I’ve tried to remember whether or not she had a middle name, but it escapes me.  She passed away in the late 1980s.

  • 20 letters with her maiden name becoming her middle name after marriage.  It's driving me crazy now that I can't remember her given middle name. She died back in 1999.

Yes it was good. She really wanted to make it to the 100 mark.  Her mother also made it to 100 as well. I remember going to her 100th birthday party when I was like 4 yr old.

Yes it is good. But sad if it does not pass to your all kids.  Grandma outlived 4 of her 11 children.  2 sons and 2 daughters.

Also if I have not said it Welcome to the Mug! It is always good to have new members. :)

I didn't know it. It could have been a patronym as the Russians use, but I'm not sure about the Russian Jews. Probably not.

Given names fifteen, surname five - but family goss says that her paternal grandfather probably used a pseudonym. He called himself "John Smith" and had absolutely no background. The family Bible hits a dead end on that branch. This post was edited by Slartibartfast at July 29, 2020 3:56 PM MDT
