Do you have a nice mop? I used to have a nice mop. It had a red handle and the bucket had a foot pump that made it spin...

I loved that mop. It’s gone now, forever.

    This might sound like bragging but I have 2 nice mops. I was thinking that if you sing the Ames Brothers song Rag Mop 3X in a row the Amish ghosts might bring your mop and bucket back. Cheers!

    I do, actually.  I have a flat head mop with a towel type of thing that fits over it.  You can use it dry or wet.  I bought seven towel heads  so I can mop until it gets dirty then change the head for a fresh one.  My downstairs uses two heads. I love not wringing a mop or having strings or rag distributed on the floor.

    I have several mops.  My current one looks like the old cotton string mops.  It, however, is made of something different.  It cleans easily and dries fast.  No smelly afterglow while it is drying.

  • That’s like the one I had too, it had strings. I used those stupid honey comb looking ones for years... They‘re useless by comparison.

    I use OCedar mops.  This is mine it is double sided:


    But if you must have the spinny mop I still recommend Ocedar.  The others look cheaply made:

      I’ve fallen onto an endless spiral of Mop-Chat. This is the worst reality TV show ever conceived, yet somehow I can’t bring myself to change the channel. I wonder if the Canadians have taken over my brain . . .
