What is something that can be done better on rainy days than when it is sunny and dry?

Relax.

I tried relaxing by a small Lake here dressed up in raingear and watching the ducks but the kind of rain we get in Vancouver soaks through everything . Even a stainless steel plate umbrella will not keep you dry.

Hardly anybody outside doing anything.  Gotta figure out some kind of suitable outdoor rainy day activity.

Run marathons.

Singing in the rain.

Playing in mud puddles.

Driving into puddles making big splashes.

Testing windshield wipers.

Complaining about the view from the top of the Empire State Building.

Taking a shower.

Read, go on the internet, or watch TV a little more guilt free.  

Crawl out into the yard and let the water soak you and cry, cry, so the tears mix with the rain, and they fall through the Earth, and they become what they once were, just like we all live and die, and time goes on still.

"Washing car" ... saves a little water; the rinsing is automatic and spot-free.
