He was no Doug Bennett or Randy Bachman but I guess he was OK. Cheers and happy weekend!

They are both Canadain rock legends. Randy  Bachman started out in the Guess Who then started BTO.. Doug Bennett  was the singer for Doug and the Slugs. Cheers! This post was edited by Nanoose at August 10, 2020 7:38 AM MDT

Can't sing. Can't play guitar. Sucked harder than he blew on the harmonica, and only an average composer.
Bob Dylan is, however, the greatest lyricist in history, living or dead. How many songwriters have a Nobel laureate in literature? Every cover of a Dylan song sounds better than the original, but if the original hadn't been done, the cover couldn't have been. He got away with sounding so bad because the lyrics mattered. Lennon and Springsteen occasionally got close, but Dylan is the king of lyrics.

Not my cuppa tea.  He always sounded like he was high as a kite and he doesn't have a very good voice.

Yeah, his sound is awful but his songwriting so good, imo.

I like Dylan because I've always loved stories, and he is a storyteller. Dylan also sang songs that actually meant something.

Yes, not the greatest voice they call it a nasal twang, it appeared to change even more once he went electric, probably due to the heroin, although it's thought he did speed, and cocaine as well.

Huh, I don’t know much about his life, I googled him the other day when I post this and was listening to some of his songs and was surprised to see he’s still alive. I don’t know who I was surprised:) just was.

  • I think I've heard of him. Is he that guy that's always knocking on Kevin's door?
