Who still deep fries in oil anything? Years ago I saw an "air fryer" advertised. Don't know how that could work but it sure sounded healthy.

How much of your food prepared at home is fried in oil?

  • I picked it up at Walmart several years ago....it wasn't but like $50 or $60.  There are really really nice ones but we just went with a pretty generic one to try it out. And we've still kept using the same one.  I think the brand name was "Power". We use it a lot for the kids...chicken nuggets, french fries, corn dogs, etc. My personal favorite thing to make in it is chicken wings.  So good, lol. Baked potatoes do really well in one too. It's pretty much just a speedy convection oven.

Awesome!. We shop at Walmart each week..usually on Tuesdays. I'll put it down on my list to check out for next Tuesday. Thank you so much. My husband is outside watering. I'm going to let him know about the info you sent me as soon as I post this to you. This is such an enormously splendid find if in fact they still carry it. Sometime after next Tuesday I'll let you know how it went. Thanks again m'dear. MUCH APPRECIATED!

Fried air. Doesn't sound terribly appetizing.
