    Because, it’s not formed meat patty, it’s just loose meat,  so pretty much a sloppy joe without the sauce. That’s A sandwich.

    If bread with stuff inside is a sandwich, then it's a sandwich no matter what the stuff inside is, even if it is a burger. To call it anything else makes no sense, even in Canada.
