What are the advantages to the business model of restaurants that are open only for breakfast, or only for breakfast and lunch, or only for

    No labor during slow periods of the day.

    It depends on the pulse of the city the restaurant is in.  Or perhaps they specialize in a particular meal.  In a small town near where I used to live, a restaurant was only open for breakfast.  But, Oh, what a breakfast it was. Everything was an excellent grade of food and they served 5 star dishes, made by a chef.  I really miss that place.
