    Croquet? Who's interested in that?

Well, me for one. No many opportunities here though. There's a lot of prejudice everywhere, not just to do with politics, religion, and anthropology and what wild creature need eliminating next for the benefit of ungrateful, murderous humans.

I have never met anybody, let alone "many guys," interested in croquet.

If the mosquito went extinct tomorrow, nobody would miss it. God's only mistake. (The platypus isn't a mistake, it's a joke).

Humans wouldn't miss them...birds, spiders and frogs would.

I was on a softball team called the boozers.  BTW my informed guess to the type of plane in your avatar is Mustang. Cheers!

Not sure what softball is - I assume it's like hoop ball or netball. But if your team's name was a playful dig at yourselves, well done, maybe you all have both feet on the ground, except when you're 'shooting hoops', that is. Not a Mustang, but another aircraft in the same category. For interest, I have a 1/72 plastic kit of this aircraft bought about 40 years ago that I have yet to assemble.

Softball is just like baseball with a larger ball that is pitched underhand.

    Supermarine Spitfire?

You missed the #1 interest - dipping your wick. And you misspelled "cricket". This post was edited by Slartibartfast at August 23, 2020 8:46 PM MDT

I right-clicked on the photo which asked me if I wanted to search Google for the photo, which I chose, and it came up with Heinkel HE112.

Oh no, you shouldn't have told me. Because, there was me thinking, gosh, an American who can actually find Bolivia on a map (Raymond), and now an American who can actually identify some non-American aircraft. I should have known it was too good to be true. Ha ha.

Sorry, but I can't in all good conscience claim I knew this without looking it up. :)
