    He wasn't terribly famous, but I was friends for several years with a guy who played major league baseball for the Texas Rangers, New York Yankees, and Atlanta Braves from 1978-86.

    Ya a freind  of the familly was a Saskatchewan Ruffrider and he played in the 1989 game when they won the Grey cup. Sad part is he now has Alzheimer's so he can't remember his glory days. Cheers!

    I only know two well-known sports figures personally.  I know them.  I never see them anymore.  I used to run into them at social events but I don't like to do those events anymore and am no longer expected to.  I haven't seen either of these guys in years.
