Discussion»Questions»Human Behavior» Have you ever opted to try out something you wanted badly enough so that you declared "I don't care if it kills me "?
I figured I had already lived at least half my life, I have no kids or husband to worry about or take care of - what the heck. I preceded that with a hot air balloon trip in New Mexico, and rounded out my death-defying experiences with white water rafting in Pennsylvania. I'm done now. I've tempted fate sufficiently. :)
i took scuba diving course when I was in the Navy; that was regarded as a 'calculated risk'.The scariest part was jumping into the icy cold North Atlantic waters from the sbip''s deck.

I would have liked to try that, but I can't have my nose and mouth covered at the same time without feeling as though I'm suffocating. I was in St. Croix on vacation and wanted to snorkel over the coral reefs, but when I put on the mask and the snorkel, I nearly fainted, so I joined the two old ladies in the glass-bottomed boat!
