What are your thoughts on the likes of parkour and freerunning?

Dangerous, pointless; demanding, freeing? Do you consider these to be sports?

"Meh, no way it can interest me;" or "meh, too safe"?

Oh Lordy! I tried to watch but unable.  Maybe I'll try to continue in 30 second intervals.  But I got really dizzy.  The very high shots got me. This post was edited by Thriftymaid at October 12, 2020 6:43 AM MDT

Oh yeah, I'm not comfortable with heights myself, and some of these things I wouldn't want anyone to try... But, admittedly, I enjoy watching when it's already done ;)

  • Fun to watch...it's agility I will never have.  Plus those that are learning contribute to some epic blooper reels.

That's a great one, haha. Big fan of bloopers - provided they're not too nasty.

Ah, haven't seen that one. For me, at that age, it was Banlieue 13. And, of course, Jackie Chan.

I had never heard of them until reading your post, I don’t know enough about them to form an opinion.

Frankly, I'd be surprised if you hadn't at least caught a news item about some kid getting hurt trying to climb a tall building (or even jumping off it). But I appreciate your maturity to withhold judgment.
